Watching this interview on 60 Minutes just made me even more proud to have Obama as our president and sooo happy that I voted for the first time in my life.
In the interview the journalist asked if he’ll still make the bed and wash dishes and he said he finds washing the dishes “soothing”. His wife, Michelle, jumped in right away and sarcastically questions him when he’s ever found “washing the dishes soothing”… He quickly responds, “When I have to wash the dishes, I find a way to make it soothing”.
I loved it! It was so great to see that after the race is done and his position as president is locked, he is still down to earth and approachable. Not to mention, he answered all questions openly and honestly, even when he had to say, “that’s all you’re getting out of me”.
Oh, and he also expressed his want to FINALLY get a playoff system for the BCS (college football)! Which would be awesome!! All you college football fans know what I’m talkin’ about
