At the first signing for my book, I was brought to tears (and did the ugly cry… it was ug-ly) when I was presented with a birthday gift that was so unbelievably generous and thoughtful: a pygmy elephant was adopted in my name and will now live out a wonderful, safe life. And then, at another signing, I was given the rest of my birthday gift. It was a puzzle that once I put it together, would give me a code to unlock a box of awesomeness (see picture above… with puzzle… and box.. yeah, I probably just pointed out the obvious……).

Unfortunately it took me forever to put the puzzle together because it was 550 PIECES!!! And I’ve been working nonstop lately on my new NBC Comedy, Perfect Couples that I had to reach out for help from friends to put it together.

The best part? Halfway through solving the puzzle, I looked at the picture on the box and realized the fucking code to the box of awesomeness was already on the picture on the box of the puzzle!!! I didn’t have to solve the puzzle at all. BUT, you guys went through putting this all together, so I’m going to play by the rules…

And I was rewarded… With a box of awesomeness that included stationary made from real elephant poo. Yes. Yes, it was awesome.

Thank you for such a thoughtful gift (sorry not everyone could come for dessert.. but I’m happy I got to hang with 16 of you!! Click HERE to see our big dessert date night!)

But, more than that… Thank you to all the fans everywhere.

I’ve always known how lucky I am to have such support. You can’t tell people who to like. And I’m so fortunate that you get me, my sense of humor and have believed in me this whole time. I’m going after dreams now that I never thought I was allowed to dream. And it’s ALL because of you.

Not a day goes by where I don’t stop to think of what you’ve done for me…

I loved meeting all of you on the book tour and wish I could’ve hit more cities to say hi and thank you in person. I’ve been pretty swamped with work, so I hope you all understand why I’ve been MIA lately.

You all have been so supportive and wonderful and helped me see some of my dreams come true…. so BIG HUGS and thank you times infinity for each and every one of you!!!!

Right before the book came out, I put out this contest. Just wanted to let you know I’m going to look through all the videos soon (contest deadline has long passed). Just waiting until I have the right amount of time to properly watch them and find the winner.

So, just wanted to let you know, I haven’t forgotten.

As a special thanks to 20 (16 could make it here) super duper amazing fans who have always gone above and beyond to support me, I made a reservation and set up OMFG Dessert Time at the hotel for all of us before I had to head out.

Thank you thank you thank you for all your support!!! After I left, I really hope you finished up all the desserts and then sang Christian Pop music together by a bonfire.

It is my absolute favorite event of the year… Next to the Academy Awards.. Hopefully this year I’ll get my overdue nomination for my stirring and powerful documentary “Olivia Lost: A brave woman’s search for the meaning of life while the same heroic woman searches for the perfect corndog at Comic-Con and then when she can’t find said ‘perfect corndog’ searches for the meaning of a life without a perfect Comic-Con corndog”.

I’ll be all over the place this weekend and if you see me please say hi, even if it’s a passing shout and glance at one another. And please accept my apologies now if I don’t have time to chat… I’m trying to make all my appointments and I’m being ushered around.. But, virtual HIGH-FIVES right now in advance!!

Friday, 3 to 5pm: Attack of the Show signing in signing area (AA#2).

Friday, 5 to 7pm: Suck it Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek book signing in Sails Pavilion on the main floor. (specific details soon)

Saturday, 12 to 4pm: Attack of the Show LIVE from Comic-Con floor (G4TV). During commercial breaks I’ll make sure to say hi and take pics if you want.

Saturday, 5pm: Attack of the Show panel in Hilton Indigo Room.

Saturday, 8 to 10pm: Suck it Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek book signing at Borders near convention center.
